Tombs of Amascut
Entry-mode ToA gear: build a compact three-style setup
Prepare an entry-mode Tombs of Amascut inventory with practical stab, Ranged and Magic candidates and sensible switch priorities.
The starting point
Start with a usable stab weapon, a Ranged option and a charged Magic weapon, then keep armour switches compact. Dragon sword or Zamorakian hasta, a crossbow, and trident of the seas are candidates to investigate; expensive raid uniques are not the starting checklist.

Cover each combat role before adding luxury slots
The Wiki’s equipment tables include dragon sword and Zamorakian hasta as stab options, and trident of the seas as a Magic option. A dragon crossbow is a Ranged candidate. Check the exact weapon’s level requirements and ammunition before committing to a purchase.
Keris partisan has a role at Kephri, and dragon dagger is a useful special-attack candidate for the Wardens’ core. These are encounter-specific jobs: a general equipment score cannot tell you to replace every weapon with whichever has the highest bonus.
Make the inventory fit before increasing difficulty
Complete Beneath Cursed Sands for access. Entry mode covers raid levels below 150; invocations change difficulty and mechanics. Select them deliberately rather than copying another player’s much harder configuration.
Lay out three small switches at the bank and count the remaining spaces. Share boots or other slots when the extra switch creates more work than you can currently manage. Your first objective is to identify each weapon’s job and switch to it reliably.
Price your actual inventory as a single list. Three independent calculator outputs each include a complete worn setup; summing them double-counts shared pieces and still leaves supplies out.
Upgrade from evidence gathered inside the raid
After a run, note which room caused difficulty and whether the issue was a mechanic, an incorrect attack style, supplies or damage. This creates a focused upgrade question instead of a vague request for better raid gear.
The planner does not simulate invocations, path scaling or raid-specific weapon effects. Use the linked room strategies and a raid-aware damage tool before treating a candidate weapon as an upgrade. Keep a little spending room for learning attempts instead of tying the entire budget up in armour.
Before you leave the bank
- Check quest access and chosen invocations.
- Bring usable weapons for all three combat styles.
- Check the Kephri and Wardens equipment roles; pack a pickaxe for the raid.
- Charge weapons, pack compatible ammunition and rehearse switches.
Common questions
Does a general BIS result describe a complete ToA inventory?
No. The raid uses multiple combat styles and specialized equipment roles. Assemble and price the combined inventory, including supplies, after reviewing the room strategies.
